What equipment do vehicles need to carry when transporting dangerous goods?
ADR requires the following to be carried if the vehicle is transporting dangerous
goods in excess of the quantities in ADR Chapter 1.1.3.6.3:

A suitable wheel chock (one should be sufficient for a rigid vehicle,
two for an artic or a wagon and drag)

Two self-standing warning signs (reflective cones, triangles or flashing
amber lights independent of vehicle electrical system)

eye rinsing liquid (a); and for each member of the vehicle crew
-
A suitable warning vest or clothing for each crew member
-
A pocket lamp (intrinsically safe for flammables or explosives)
-
a pair of protective gloves; and
-
eye protection (e.g. protective goggles)
Additional equipment required for certain classes;
an emergency escape mask for each member of the vehicle crew shall be
carried on board the vehicle for danger label numbers 2.3 (toxic gas)
or 6.1 (toxic substances)
a shovel, a drain seal and a collecting container (b)
(a) Not required for danger labels 1, 1.4, 1.5, 1.6, (Explosives) 2.1 (Flammable
gas) 2.2 (non-flammable, non-toxic gas) 2.3 (toxic gas)
(b) Only required for danger label numbers 3 (Flammable liquids), 4.1 (Flammable
substances), 4.3 (Dangerous when wet), 8 (Corrosives) and 9 (miscellaneous)
These requirements are in ADR Chapter 8.1.5
In addition vehicles require to carry fire extinguishers:

MPW up to 3.5 tonnes - A minimum total of 4kgs, one being at least 2kgs.

MPW more than 3.5 tonnes up to 7.5 tonnes - A minimum total of 8kgs, one being
at least 2kgs and one at least 6kgs.

MPW more than 7.5 tonnes - A minimum total of 12 kgs, one being at least 2kgs
and one being at least 6kgs.
Footnotes:

Vehicles carrying only goods of Class 6.2 only require a minimum
of a 2kg extinguisher irrespective of vehicle size.

Vehicles carrying dangerous goods even below the thresholds in ADR 1.1.3.6.3
still require to carry a minimum of a 2kg extinguisher.
