Course Details.

Aviation Security Level 4.

A half day course which meets the requirements of The Aviation Security (Air Cargo Agents) Regulations 1993. These regulations require certain personnel involved in air cargo activities to undergo a training programme approved by the Department for Transport’s Transport Security Directorate (TRANSEC).

Who should attend?

Personnel who may handle air cargo or who prepare documentation such as waybills and manifests. Personnel involved in activities such as receiving, packing, storing and transporting or trans-shipping. Drivers of vehicles carrying “known” cargo to airfreight agents or airlines.

Course Content.

• Video / DVD – Air Cargo Security: Working as a team

• Module 1 – The threat to civil aviation.

• Module 2 – Principles of the cargo security regime.

• Module 6 – Suspicious Circumstances & security awareness.

• Module 11 – Telephone bomb warnings.

• Video / DVD – Airtight, Secure Air Cargo or Courier security. (dependent on recipients)
